I lost my original ipod charger and now i have a Belkin iPod shuffle charger that charges it, but doesnt seem to be read by my computer. How can i put music on it if it doesnt show up?

troyboy has a point there, but most charger cables are made to transfer data just like the original cord did. However, they are usually poorly made compared to the original one, and often stop working after awhile. Just borrow a friend's cable and see if that works.

whenever i try to charge it nothing comes up no light nor does anyting come up on itunes.is there anything i can do besides buying a new charger because i already brought a new chager before when it happen and i don't want to keep spending my money.

This may seem like a dumb question, I'm almost sure the answer will be no, but I'm really desperate. Are there any ways at all?
I know that I use the same cord that I use to transfer music from my Ipod to my computer to charge it. I just said, I lost that cord.

There is no other way unless u get the cord.
I found mine a month later.

Yup, Walmart, Best Buy, or if your in the uk (like myself) Boots and Argos! Should be any more then $20-$40 or 20-30 pounds.

Scosche is announcing its 2010 iPod/iPhone accessory lineup at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The new lineup will feature a variety of products that complement the various iPod and iPhone models.


The IDR655m earphones with tapLINE II remote and mic feature 11mm drivers. The control surface is placed where the earphone wires split, making switching tracks or adjusting the volume easy for users, according to the folks at Scosche. The earphones also feature an integrated microphone for handsfree conversations, voice command and recording memos. Scosche includes small, medium, and large single and dual flanged silicone inserts.

The company will upgrade its Power line with a new, smaller version: the reviveLITE, which will offer an additional USB charging port that allows users to charge other USB powered devices while charging their iPod or iPhone. One more thing. I also put their customer service/technical support departments to the test as well. I must say they walked me through every scenario that i could come up with. To top it off they did all this with courtesy and a very helpful mindset. That to me was the icing on the cake. A great product with great customer service. If you haven’t guessed, I really like this product and I would recommend it to anyone. And it’s even simple enough for my grandma to use.
