It doesn't matter how old you are, everyone probaly asked Santa for something this year.
Video games and toys are always a big hit with children, and of course, the latest technology is popular.
"I like Legos." Said one little girl named Annabelle who was shopping with her family in a Tallahassee toy store on Christmas Eve.
Annabelle isn't the only one that likes Legos.
Actually, LEGO City Advent Calendar is the number one gift for children on a 2009 Internet top selling Christmas Toys list.
Rounding off the top five are: Butterscotch Pony, Elmo toy from Sesame Street, Swim to me Puppy, and Tumble Time Tigger.
Local toy store owners say the one toy that didn't stay on the shelves for long is Zhu Zhu toy hamsters.
Nicole Hosking said, "We had them one day, we got 32 of them in stock and they're gone. They were gone in a day and a half. So, yearh, they're really popular."
List or no list, some kids just know what they want.
Young Ben of Tallahassee said, "An ant farm. But, it's actually really cool. I don't know why, but it's fun to watch them dig."
For the bigger kids, the new 3rd Generation iPod Touch is number one on the top Christmas Gift list.
That's what Tallahassee resident Rena Jackson's daughter asked for.
"She had to have, no doubt. she had to have it." Said, Jackson.
The Nintendo Wii comes in second on the regular list.
Christmas shopper Lorenzo Henry is buying one. He said, "It was something that somebody asked about a while ago. They were inquiring about it. So, hopefully I'm doing right."
Top three, four and five are a multi-beverage machine, transformers voice mixer helmet, and the iPod nano with camera.
So, after braving the crowds and searching high and low for her daughter's presents... what does Jackson want for herself?
She grabs her husband and says, "I got him. Put a bow on him."
That's one thing that money cannot buy.
Not all of the top gifts on the list will break the bank.
You can get the Zhu Zhu pet hamsters for about ten dollars, but of course, the pony and the electronic gifts are a bit pricier.
Store owner Hosking says scooters and anything that you can ride on are also big this year.
