I bought a 120GB iPod Classic the other week and i love it, all but for one thing, it randomly wont play some songs.
Has anybody had any issues like this and managed to resolve them?
The mp3's were not purchased from itunes, but they were purchased legally, all songs from CD's work fine, its just ones that i have downloaded.

If your movie's format is mp4 you can put it on iPod directly.
If not, you just need to convert it into mp4, because iPod only accepts mp4 format.

Pros---
-Nice big screen for watching videos
-120 GB , amazing amount of space for music, pictures, and video
- Pretty thin for 120 GB
-comes in 2 colors, silver and Black
-pretty good Battery life too.
Cons--
- I heard the cover flow has a little bit of a lag
-the main menu sometimes has lag and hesitation from the click wheel
-Price, Ipods are always expensive
-No FM radio
-No voice recorder , or any recorder
- Only works with Itunes, not Windows Media player
And those I think are the only ones that I can think of.

Since I wrote the first part of this new year review, Rescuecom has published findings that show Apple was equal top with Lenova in computer reliability ratings for the third quarter of 2009.
While consumer desktop computers have their adherents, many prefer notebooks. Apple has the MacBook Pro in three sizes, and the MacBook Air for those who need lightness ( http://www.apple.com/asia/mac/whichmacbook/compare.html )
There is also a white polycarbonate 13" MacBook at 36,900 baht which still finds considerable favour with students.
With a 2.26Ghz processor, 2GB RAM and a 250GB hard disk, WiFi, two USB ports and Ethernet, plus the glass trackpad which supports gestures, this has better specifications than my current Mac.
The aluminium MacBook Pro goes even better. With 13", 15" and 17" versions, there are options for processors and hard disk configurations. All have the MagSafe power port, Gigabit Ethernet port and a FireWire 800 port. The 17" has three USB 2.0 ports (the others have two). The 13" has 2.36Ghz or 2.53Ghz processors and 2GB or 4GB RAM respectively (46,900 or 57,900 baht). There are hard disk options up to 500GB, or solid state drives up to 256GB.

The MacBook Air is intended for those who travel often or who make presentations. I think of this as a second computer for the professional. Its two versions have 1.83Ghz or 2.13 GHz processors (57,900, 69,900 baht) and 2GB RAM. The first has a 120GB hard drive, while the faster version has a 128GB solid state drive.
The iPod has changed the way we use music and video. There are three basic iPods, plus the wide-screen iPod touch and the iPhone.

Being able to use most iPhone apps has transformed the device from a music and video player with some PDA functions into a useful iPod that acts as organiser, game player and communications device with WiFi capabilities. So, I recently purchased an iPod Classic 120gb, and re-activated my 2G 8Gb iPhone with AT&T. Naturally, after adding music I wanted to escalate to adding some video to both devices. After trying out all the usual programs (Xilisoft, ImTOO, Cucusoft, PQDVD, Videora, Makayama, etc, etc, etc,) and having the same issue with ALL of them, mainly the audio/video being out of sync, I finally landed on a program that is by far the best software for this purpose I have ever encountered.

This program is a 6.2mb download, 15.2mb installed, and is just as simple and user-friendly as the Xilisoft/ImTOO interface (which I found to be the most user-friendly of the non-working apps).
While it's relatively easy to just pop in your favorite DVD movie or TV episode disc and start ripping to you hearts content with the preset settings, it's equally as easy to make major and minor tweaks to suit your personal preferences and needs.
Now, I am by no means any sort of A/V expert. I could barely get video files added to my iTunes library to start off, much less convert files or DVDs. But this software is so simple to use and creates such amazing results that you'll feel like an expert.
