I Just Got The Chromatic Guitar Tuner Pedal And Need Help With It?

How Do I Tune My Guitar In Standard Tuning With This Pedal Tuner? My Uncle Forgot The Instructions .

You have to push it down once, until the little red light comes on. Then you have to push it again. It's kinda strange to figure out, but once you get it working it's great.

What is chromatic tuner?

OK. I have played accustic guitar for some time, but two days ago my friends bought me electric guitar. Many things came with guitar, chromatic tuner, too. It is Behringer TU100 model. I don't know how to turn it on. And this tuner is also a pedal. What is it for?

Tell me everything I should know about this thing.

i have a guitar tuner, not that model, but it has 3 settings: guitar, bass, and chromatic tuner

the first 2 are self explanitory, but if i ever want to go to an "alternate tuning" I have to put it on chromatic to tune it properly, as if I leave it on "guitar" it gets all mixed up,still thinks I'm going for "standard tuning" and before you know it you break a string!

guitar tuner?

boss TU-2 Chromatic Stompbox Tuner or Korg DT-10BR Chromatic Pedal Tuner. If you can think of some better pedal tuner please say.

This is the first I've heard about the Korg tuner. This was probably released recently.

The Boss pedal has been the defacto stage standard for many years. Korg may be shaping up to be a Boss killer!

Musicians Friend has both pedals at $99. The user reviews there like the Korg better, both directly comparing it to the Boss.

The only problem with the Korg might be pedalboard real estate, as this pedal has a larger footprint.

If price is an issue, consider the Planet Waves Chromatic Pedal Tuner, which I picked up for $79 at a local music store.

So if price and size are not problems, I'd go with the Korg.

If price is no option, the Cadillac of stompbox tuners is the Peterson Strobostomp 2 -- about $200.

In what sequence should I place the following guitar effects on my pedal board?

Boss Chromatic Tuner
Behringer Ultra Chorus Pedal
BBE Two Timer Delay Pedal
Cry Baby Wha Wha
BBE Green Screamer

I would put the tuner first, and the cry baby should be last, but play with the order of the others to find the sound you want.

the screamer could be either right in front of the wah, or right behind it
try it both ways
the delay and chorus are last

1.Tuner
2.chorus
3.crybaby
4.tubescreamer
5.delay
you can move the chorus after the overdrive as well. Typically time based effects need to be after overdrive.

I doesnt really matter unless you want a certain sound not to be used with another, Also are u running your stuff stero or direct? you would also have to take this into consideration, I would put the tuner first though, and most people i see play live usually have the wah wah last.

i'd go tuner first, screamer next, chorus, delay, wah.
i usually do that minus the delay. (and the wah is usually a phaser or a vibrato but i use wah when i get FUNKY!!!)

pedal connection and pedal help???

i have a boss chromatic tuner, a boss v- wah pedal, and a dod distortion pedal.. i conect these using the parralel DC cord (pcs-2OA-optional). is there a way to use the wahe wah pedal when you need it and when u dont need it u can take the power off or make it seem like its not even there no more without disconectiong everything. because when you dont need it and your playing your guitar with distortion, it doesnt sound good because the wah wah pedal is making a wierd sound u dont need.. i only want to use the wah wah pedal when i need it but i want to leave it there without moving it but make it seem like its not even there, like make the same sound you would without the wah wah pedal bieng there but its actually there..i know its kinda confusing but i need help!

i don't have the same wah as you .. i use the dunlop original cry baby... i do think.. as the others do .. that there should be a switch when you press down on it ... it should click on or off... i do know that with the dunlop wahs some simply do go on or off just by taking your foot on or off the pedal... how cool that is... but it is more$$$ if you got it ....

From page 13 in the owners manual:

Step down firmly on the pedal to switch off the toe switch, and turn off the wah effect.

What effects pedals should I get for my guitar?but what would you reccomend/suggest?

I am 14 and have a job and in about two weeks I will have saved up enoug money on a Dean VMNT1(dont tell me someting else is a better guitar because it is the best for 1000$ ,I would prefer it over the gibson explorer any epiphone or whatever).I play that guitar through a vox pathfinder pathfinder 15r not the best amp for metal but thats why i need effects, the pickups on the Dean will probably cover distortion.I play mostly megadeth,pre-black album Metallica, ozzy, black label society, black sabbath, bands like that mostly classic metal, classic thrash metal, i dont really like metal from nowdays it kinda blows so I was thinking an Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer,Dunlop crybaby original wah, korg pitchblack chromatic pedal tuner, maybe an EQ but boss or MXR,I alredy have a beringer warp distortion pedal i bought for 40$ at my local guitar shop it sounds great on my friends amp but not on mine.and maybe the boss blues pedal for 80$ for maybe some SRV or ZZtop I like that too especially early ZZ top.

I really recommend hanging on until you can get a better amp.

You got the nice guitar, now save up for the nice amp and head.

Pedals are cool. But distortion pedals can't really compare with a good distortion on the head.

I'd get pedals for EQ, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Compressor, Supressor, etc. But not for distortion.

If you don't want to save up for a good amp, that will give you good distortion for metal, then I'd recommend getting an EQ Pedal, because that way, when you do upgrade your amp some day, you don't have a wasted pedal sitting in your closet.

guitarists what pedal should i buy next?

currently running from amp to guitar: boss chromatic tuner- boss ge 7 eq- boss digital delay- boss flanger- danelectro chorus- boss metal zone- ibanez tube screamer- dunlop wah what else should i get? help me make the decision...

Do you have a power adapter ? .......or a roadie to carry all this.

guitarists what pedal should i buy next? boss octave oc 3 or a boss compressor sustainer. I own these....?

i agree with the compressor that will make your sound better

What order do my electric guitar effects pedals go?

I was wondering what order my effects pedals should go for my electric guitar. I own a

Digitech RP80 processor

Boss Ds-1 Distortion

Digitech Eric Clapton Crossroads Pedal

DOD FX-84 Milk Box Compressor Pedal

Ibanez AW7 Tone Lok Autowah

Danelectro Fab D-2 Overdrive

Danelectro Fab Echo

Danelectro Fab Chourus

Danelectro Fab Flange

Danelectro Dj-4 corned beef Reverb

and a Boss TU-2 Chromatic Stompbox Tuner

can anyone help me put these pedals in the right order for my guitar? I like to play alot of blues and jazz, and my favorite to play is classic rock solos from AC/DC and Guns-n-Roses. I mostly play rock though. The processor is used mainly for the pedal on the side that i can program for wah or volume. I dont use the sounds very much, the processor to me sounds very fake and digital and my pedals do not sound that way they sound solid and clean. Please help, Thank You for your time.

You have a lot so I won't address the whole lineup. Just think of it like this - you DON'T want echo/delay/reverb before a distortion/overdrive unit because it will 'distort' both the original signal AND the 'echo'. Same with chorus, flange, wah etc. Most compression is put on at the END of the signal unless you are going for a compressed THEN affected sound. Hope this helps a little. Best way is to experiment - which should keep you busy for a while with all that. I've tried to pare mine down to the very basics and not put something in the effect chain just because I have it. Each unit corrups the sound a little more. GOOD LUCK!

which is the best way to set up these guitar effects pedals ?

i have a Boss chromatic tuner....a jim dunlop wah wah...a Flange pedal...a bad monkey overdrive pedal, a Boss distortion pedal... and a boss compressor/Sustainer pedal any help would be greatly appriciated

I would have the tuner first in line, then the wah-wah, then i would put the overdrive with the distortion pedal following, and the flange after those, finally i would hook up the compressor before running it to the input of the amp, or effects loop.
