Tough find - even on Ebay.

Bid you good luck in your search.

ebay..

will your subs sound good if you have one 15" rockford fosgat hx2 power and one 15" rockford fosgate team

yeah but the bigger, meaning above 12", subs dont handle tight fast bass as well as the smaller ones, and also you'd need a meaty amp, or preferably running in 2-4 ohm and a power rating of as close its rated 1000 watts RMS for your hx2 & depending on the other woofers rating, the closest to its rated power handling in rms, make sure that u don't get sold on peak power ratings, ask for rms. Its better measure. hope that helps,

personally id sell the two 15" and get yourself 2 dual coil 12"ers and get some wicked A-class amplification!

no, because RF doesnt make very good sounding subs.

They will sound great if I put them in & set your levels.

i would say no

Just a few question about my new car audio: 4000w --- 1650w RMS: 15inch HX2 Rockford Subwoofer...etc?

Hi all, please address each question individually. Thank you.

How can I check to make sure that my amp is really putting out 1650w of RMS power.

My subwoofer didnt seem to be any louder than with my 200w RMS amp, it seems like it's fighting itself... That being said let me tell you how its hooked up then you can tell me where to check for problems.

--- I have a 4 farad cap running to two amps, my 4000w and my 200w. The cap is grounded to the same place on the chasis as the two amps (this is my first time dealing with a cap, and im not sure its hooked up right, but I did follow the instruction). The sub is a dual voice coil I have it hooked up where the positve side of the amp goes to both sides of the positive terminals on the sub. And the same with the negitive. That being said, I have not checked to make sure the wires are hooked upright in the box, but i will.

So, wut could cause it to fight itself.

Do any of you own an HX2? Does it kick butt for you?

Thanks guys

well, you definitely need different grounding points, I had two amps on the same ground and was about to take one back because the power was weak, but when I changed to a separate ground point the power was definitely improved, as for putting a cap on the same ground I think that might be something to do with it. As for your sub, check out these wiring diagrams (link) to make sure your impedance is matching your amp as if your amp is wired to the wrong impedance you can either miss out on power or overload your amp. I think this would be something to check straight away as not all amps are 2 ohm stable and some dvc subs if wired incorrectly can make a 1 ohm load which will literally fry your amp. hope this helps.
