How can i get the most power out of my rockford Fosgate P3's?

I have a sony 1200w 2 channel amp and 2 12" Rockford Fosgate P3's 4 Ohm. I have them ran in stero right now and im only getting about 200w of RMS power to each sub. I was just wondering if there was any way to get any more power from this amp.?

Bridge the subs and also subs are better set in mono not sterio if you have that option. You should have the manual and that should show you the wiring diagram to bridge the subs. I dont like sony amps anyway but I hope that I have helped you.

What amp would work well with 2x12" rockford p3's?

i want an inexpensive amp, but will use the potential of two 12s P3
500 rms each

We need to know the RMS of your subs.
So we can then match it to an amp.
I can tell you now, you will need a 2 channel amp, running in stereo mode.
shop around these sites.

anyone who has rockford P3 in a car?

i have 2 rockford P3 in my yukon and plan on putting them in my car wanting to know how carazy are they in car's?

hey, i cant answer your question but i did want to write an answer just to let you know that someone actually read it. better luck next time and i hope your problem was resolved.

i need help in choosing the right amp for two rockford p3 12'' subs and each has 500 rms and 1000 watts peak?

I need to know what would be best such as 2 channel or 4 or whatever because i don't know much about amps.

Go with a mono subwoofer amp and wire them down to 2 ohms then get this baby.

http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-KAC-9104D-subwoofer-amplifier-watts/dp/B0014E2PD6/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1221613077&sr=8-1

If wired correctly this will rock your car and your inner ear. Good luck hope this helped

First of all, you will not be disappointed with those subs, I have one p3 12, and a p2 10, but damn does that thing put out. As for the amp, if you want to stay with rockford fosgate, you can go with the T10001bd. Just make sure you wire everything right and all, and you will want to get a capacitor too most likely, but you should be good with that. Good luck!

I would stay with Rockford Fosgate, as they will work wonders when paired to one of their amps. As for which one, im not to sure, probably the T10001bd. Good luck!!

Hit me up I have some great stuff for great prices so hit me up...

What kind of amp do i need to push 2 rockford fosgate p3 4ohm 15s?

Preferably rockford amp.

first off rockford subs are not junk. i assure you. i haven owned many sets of rockford subs and i was impressed. one thing about rockford subs is that they can take a beating. i have seen people run a 1500watt(
true watts) on a pair of those and i was indeed impress. like they stated earlier it really does depend on your money, and also how loud or how clean. being that you have dual 4ohms, you have many options. you can get a 1ohm mono, class d or Rockford(class bd) or you can get a 2 channel that pushes out 1000 watts or more. to me, i would get a class d. one thing the new rockford amps , t-1500.1, p100.1, t1001, are 1ohm stable. but the t1001 requires 1/0 gauge. i am thinking about getting a t-1500.1 myself for my subs. but if price is an issue, they are other amps that can push ur subs. you have many options.

PLEASE tell me you did not buy those subs. RF makes good amps, but the subs are junk.

Amp wise, what is budget?

guy below me doesnt know junk... RF subs are very nice quality and extremly loud for their power ;)

wired at 1 OHM is how this amplifier is meant to run optimally :-)

ma audio 2000amp 450$
poweracoustik 5500amp LAF model the new 2008 amp black with 0gauge power connections. 300$
hifonics bxi 2000watt amp. 300$
kicker 1500rms watt amp 450$

depends on how much you wanna spend and how you think about true power. hifonics and kicker and ma audio are true power. so is rockford and jl audio. power acoustik isnt. the 3200rms power acoustik amp is really 2000rms. but will push those good cause those subs are 500rms each

What's the best amplifier to use for 2 12'' rockford fosgate P3's?

I plan on getting two 12'' rockford fosgate P3D412 or P3D212 (not sure on the two) but i'm desparetly wanting to know a couple of good amps to power them. any sugestions please write below.
Thanks for you help!!!!
P.S. I'm new to all of the sound system stuff but free to any answers.

P3D412 are 4ohm subs while the P3D212 are 2 ohm subs both have dual voicecoils.... what that means is that you can run a sub for example P3D412 as either a 2 ohm sub or 8 ohm sub where the P3D212 can be run as a 4 ohm sub or 1 ohm sub this will depend on if you run them in series or parallel parallel give the lower impedance.... Regarding the amp, if you get the 2 ohms you want an amp that is stable at 1 ohm while if you get the 4 ohm you want an amp that is stable @ 2 ohm or 1 ohm if you run all 4 speakers on one channel.... That being said. I would get the rockford fosgate T600-2 and the 4 ohm subs this will give you 300 RMS in 2 ohm into 2 channels.

i have 2 10'' rockford P3's. And i was wonderin if anyone had any suggestions on the amp i should get?

They are the 2 ohm DVC. I kinda want to keep everything rockford but i doesnt really matter. Do u think the kicker ZX850.2 would be better?

If they are 4 ohm DVC you could go with a Rockford Fosgate P500-2 and wire them in parallel at 2 ohms per channel and have 250 rated rms per channel(which is a lot more in reality for a RF amp). For 2 ohm DVC I would get a Kicker ZX850.2 and wire them in series at 4 ohms per channel. Regardless, whatever you get make sure it is CEA-2006 compliant and you will get a good amp.

are the rockford fosgate P3 12"s good for SPL?

i think i might want to get 2 12" rockford fosgate P3's are they good for SPL? if not what rockfors fosgate subs are good for SPL that cost $200 or less?
i can get the p3 for $100

Rockford p3 Amp Advice?

I have a rockford p3 subwoofer and was wanting to know if a kenwood kac 642 4 channel amplifier would atleast make it sound all right? And if not where can i order a amp cheap that will power it?

What amp should i get for Rockford Fosgate 12" Punch P3 4-Ohm?

Either a specific amp, preferably rockford fosgate or just how the specifications. The one i have now is two small
i think thats the amp i have now. The people at teh shop told me my speakers could take alot more power. Is that not true?
if i get an amp that is to big is will blow my speakers right? lol they were expensive so thats definately what i do not want to do.
i have 2 subs not 1, sorry i didnt realize i hadnt told you that

You need a amp that is 500rms@4ohm not 300rms.
