Incidents
On Sunday an employee with LTD Bait Tackle, 901 S. 3rd Ave., reported damage to two glass doors on the west side, two windows on the south side and five fish tanks at the business. Estimated value of damage was $4,500.
On Saturday Lorrie Stewart, 2206 Dubois Circle, reported damage to a rear sliding window, the tail gate and dashboard on a 1999 Chevy S-10 pickup while parked at her residence and the theft of a 10" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and a MTX amplifier. Estimated value of loss was $2,100.
On Saturday Anita Ann Grocholski, 111 N. 2nd St. Apt. #2, reported damage to a house window at her residence. Estimated value of damage was $150.
On Friday Robert Perdue, 711 E. Linn St. Apt. #3, reported the theft of cash, 4 DVDs, men's cologne and a gold ring from a 1997 Chevy Blazer. Estimated value of loss was $2,260.
On Friday Vicki Ocasio, 1701 Elder Dr., reported the theft of checks and checks written in the amount of $1,284.26.
On Friday Amber Callahan, 110 College Dr. #2201, reported the theft of an HP Pavilion laptop computer from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $832.
On Friday Anabel Yepez, 104 W. Church St., reported damage to the driver side front window on a 2002 Ford F150 while parked at 103 N. 9th Ave., and the theft of a Dual DVD/CD/car radio, an IPod and a Nexstar GPS. Estimated value of loss was $1,050.
On Friday an employee with Create a Keepsake, 9 W. Main St., reported damage to the back door and jamb, four ceiling tiles, a bathroom sink and drywall around the sink and the theft of a ceramic and wooden Crucifix, 12 rings, 35 "mood" necklaces, 10 body oils, eight pairs of diamond earrings, 25 key chains, 28 pairs of wooden Peace bracelets, 16 metal Peace bracelets, eight beaded men's necklaces, 10 plastic Peace bracelets, eight knit hats, nine ankle bracelets, five necklaces with pewter, six necklace pendants, 10 beaded bracelets, seven beaded ankle bracelets, eight Peace necklaces, eight "Peace" handbags, 11 cell phone chains, 30 necklace and earring sets, a gift certificate and cash. Estimated value of loss was $2,175.97.
On Nov. 2, Kevin Stackhouse, 707 Union St., reported the theft of a left head light, a battery, jumper cables and a pet tote with supplies from a Dodge Ram while parked at his residence. Estimated value of loss was $110.
On Oct. 24, Jeff Wollam, 901 Kester Rd., reported damage to the right front window on a 1994 Ford Mustang while parked at his residence and the theft of a Sony CD player. Estimated value of loss was $300.

On Sunday Andrea Lynne Robbins of Lawrence was cited for operating while intoxicated.
On Saturday Deborah Ann Ewoldt, 603 Highland Acres Rd., was cited for operating while intoxicated.
On Friday Michael Eldon Brittain, 111 N. 4th St., was cited for operating while intoxicated, 3rd offense.
Arrests
On Sunday Michael Thomas Parkin, 1 W. Grant St. Apt. #307, was arrested for obstruction of emergency communications and aggravated domestic abuse.
On Sunday Scott Jay Truax, 713 N. 4th Ave. Apt. #1, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
On Sunday Gordon Lasley Jr. of Ankeny was arrested for public intoxication.
On Saturday Amando Paulin Leon, 119 E. State St. Apt. #10, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
On Saturday Danny Huffman, 204 N. 1st Ave., was arrested for public intoxication and criminal mischief, 5th degree.
On Saturday Israel Garcia-Jimenez, 711 Jackson St., was arrested for driving while revoked and operating while intoxicated.
On Friday Bonnie Sue Schroeder, 405 W. Church St. Apt. #3, was arrested for arson, 1st degree.
On Friday Darwin Quinones-Gonzalez, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #614, was arrested for larceny.
On Friday Robert James Gutierrez, 119 E. State St. Apt. AA, was arrested for public intoxication.
Accidents
On Sunday a car driven by Ana Pascoal-Alejo, 103 N. 2nd St., was westbound on Marion Street when it turned left in front of a vehicle driven by Marla Kay Overton of Union causing a collision. No injuries were reported. Pascoal-Alejo was cited for failure to yield upon left turn, failure to have a valid license or permit and violation-financial liability-accident. Damage to the Pascoal-Alejo car was estimated at $3,500 while the Overton vehicle received an estimated $5,000 in damage.
On Friday a vehicle driven by Courtney Kay Moore, 1706 Laurel Dr., was backing into a parking spot in the 400 block of Melody Lane when it collided with a legally parked car. No injuries were reported. Damage to the legally parked car was estimated at $1,000.
On Nov. 25, a car driven by Kisha Christine Amundson, 204 N. 8th St., was westbound on Anson Street approaching the intersection with Highway 14 when it collided with the rear of a pickup driven by Alan Dale Resor of Belle Plaine which was slowing for the light. No injuries were reported. Amundson was cited for failure to stop in a sure and safe distance. Damage to the Amundson car was estimated at $3,000 while the Resor pickup received an estimated $100 in damage.
On Nov. 24, a car driven by Timothy Allen Rahn of Ferguson was eastbound on Madison Street when it left the travelled portion of the roadway, struck a building called The Keen Edge owned by Donald Anderson, 207 Market St., and came to rest on its side. Rahn was transported to Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Damage to the Rahn car was estimated at $2,000 while the Anderson building received an estimated $500 in damage.
On Nov. 24, a car driven by Bradley A. Stenagel of Neenah, Wis., was westbound on East Anson Street approaching the intersection with South First Avenue when it collided with a vehicle driven by James Allen Gannon, 405 N. 15th St., which was in the intersection attempting to make a left turn onto Anson Street. No injuries were reported. Stenagel was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Damage was estimated at $900 each.
